Ancient Kendrisia was among the mightiest nations in the world. The first settlers of this peninsula were revered as great merchants, philosophers, scientists, and artists. Much of Ancient Kendrisian art and architecture is preserved to this day, showcasing the deep history, triumphs and losses of the Kendrisian people. As the kingdom of Aveyron developed to the west and Kendrisian power waivered, the peninsula was eventually overpowered by the conquerors of nature. Aveyronnais settlement resulted in centuries of dire conflict, as well as a reborn cultural identity. Today, these conflicts remain unresolved, but the region operates mostly in peace, a mix of Kendrisian and Aveyronnais influence in most aspects of life.
